Meet Our New Sales Development Rep, Harry

Please join us in welcoming our new Sales Development Rep, Harry William Hindess. Harry joined SalesScreen on 13 January in our Oslo office.

“When I researched the product I could imagine it transforming sales floors which I had worked on in the past. I felt like I finally found a product/company I could be excited to sell and develop with.'

Oslo, Norway —  Harry brings his energy and dedication to the SalesScreen team.

What is your education/work background?

Harry: I graduated from Bournemouth University in 2014 with a degree in Exercise Science (Health & Rehabilitation). I started working in a call center selling home insurance–this consisted of cold calling and turning strangers into clients within 30 minutes.

I wanted to create longer-lasting relationships and be more independent, so I moved on to an insurance broker, where I worked for almost 3 years generating leads and securing new and existing clients.

What are some of your hobbies?

Harry: I am training for a quarter triathlon which I will be taking part in next August. I have become a keen runner in the last 3 months and also enjoy football (playing and watching), cooking and hiking.

Why did you choose to work for SalesScreen?

Harry: When I researched the product I could imagine it transforming sales floors which I had worked on in the past. I felt like I finally found a product/company I could be excited to sell and develop with.

What are your expectations of working here?

Harry: I expect to be given the opportunity to excel and develop and I expect ongoing success as a company.

What unique qualities or skills do you bring to the table?

Harry: Experience in lead generation, cold calling, prospecting, retaining existing clients and ongoing customer relations. I am dedicated and highly motivated to succeed both individually and as a team.

Have you ever worked for a startup? Are you excited about it?

Harry: No. I am excited to work with like-minded colleagues who want the company to grow and exceed targets.

Describe your personality.

Harry: Engaging, approachable, trustworthy and reliable.

What's your favorite quote?

Harry: “We are like butterflies who flutter for a day and think it is forever.” – Carl Sagan (from his book Cosmos)

What's a book or movie you enjoyed recently?

Harry: Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari. Lots of interesting facts about the human species and interesting views on modern society.
