“I chose to work for SaleScreen because I think they take on a big problem–to help people get more engaged in their work.'

Oslo, Norway — Marcus brings his passion, communication skills and eagerness to learn to the SalesScreen team.

What is your work education/work background?

Marcus: I’ve worked at XXL (sporting goods retailer) for five years. Currently I’m studying entrepreneurship at Handelshøyskolen BI in Oslo.

What are some of your hobbies?

Marcus: I like a lot of stuff, but I guess my top 3 is football, hiking and playing the drums.

Why did you choose to work for SalesScreen?

Marcus: I chose to work for SaleScreen because I think they take on a big problem–to help people get more engaged in their work. It is a cause I’d really like to back up and push out in the market. After the interview, I knew my passion for this would match up perfectly with SalesScreen’s vision, which is to motivate and create excitement.

What are your expectations of working here?

Marcus: I expect to learn a lot from the people here, and I can’t wait to see where we’ll be in two years. I expect to know all there is to know about sales.

What unique qualities or skills do you bring to the table?

Marcus: I’m a positive, straightforward guy but that’s nothing unique in the office. I have a good understanding of people and good communication skills.

Have you ever worked for a startup? Are you excited about it?

Marcus: No, I’ve never worked for a startup and I’m really excited. I think this kind of work will suit me well. The leaders seems very excited, and I get the sense that my role is important for the company to grow.

Describe your personality.

Marcus: I’ll describe myself as a playmaker. Easily adaptive, love to learn and to see that learning becomes results. And obviously, I like to win.

What's your favorite quote?

Marcus: “The purpose of life is finding the largest burden that you can bear and bearing it.”― Jordan B. Peterson

Bio: Marcus is 27-years-old and comes from Gjerdrum, Norway. He graduated from BI with a degree in Business Administration. In his free time, he enjoys socializing with friends and playing drums and football.
