“The first thing that is worth mentioning is the environment and culture in the office. It truly reflects what a great organization it is. What’s also very appealing to me is their guts and willingness to invest and expand to unknown and different markets.'

Oslo, Norway — Preben brings his creativity, tenacity and fresh perspective to the SalesScreen team.

What is your work education/work background?

Preben: I worked at a Telenor store–both part-time and full-time–for 3 years. Since then, I have completed an innovation project with Atea and their two customers Microsoft and HP. During this time period I have been working on a Bachelor degree in Innovation and Business Development at Høyskolen Kristiania-right by the office.

What are some of your hobbies?

Preben: I love everything that has to do with downhill skiing and ski touring in the mountains, but that is quite seasonal unfortunately… Right now I play volleyball and squash to get in shape for the winter season!

Why did you choose to work for SalesScreen?

Preben: The first thing that is worth mentioning is the environment and culture in the office. It truly reflects what a great organization it is. What’s also very appealing to me is their guts and willingness to invest and expand to unknown and different markets. I think this, combined with working in sales is super motivating for me–I mean who doesn’t want to be a part of that?

What are your expectations of working here?

Preben: I expect to have a lot to do, never get bored, learn new things everyday and get responsibility. I expect to see results of the job I’m doing.

What unique qualities or skills do you bring to the table?

Preben: I am a do-er. It bothers me when things are done halfway. I really enjoy working at the limit between a hard challenge and my knowledge. I’m good at pushing myself and using my creativity and knowledge to find new and unorthodox ways to solve difficult challenges!

Have you ever worked for a startup? Are you excited about it?

Preben: Not really, but I have been involved in starting up two youth businesses and one student-run business.

Describe your personality.

Preben: I like to think of myself as creative, curious and outgoing.

What's your favorite quote?

Preben: “There’s a way to do it better - find it” - Thomas Edison

===========

Bio: Preben is 22-years-old and comes from Drøbak, Norway. He is in his final year at Høyskolen Kristiania, where he is studying for a Bachelor's degree in Innovation and Business Development. In his free time, he enjoys downhill skiing and other sports like volleyball and squash.
